| 3. | Rifle details - make, serial number (of each barrel in the case of Blasers) and caliber |
On receipt of this information we will send you an "Invitation to hunt" letter which is needed at the airport to import your rifles into South Africa.
FIREARMS
Firearm permits are issued upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo International). Citizens of the USA must ensure that they are in possession of a completed, signed US Customs form number 4457, listing relevant firearms and serial numbers. This form is available at any US Customs office and will only be issued after a physical inspection of your firearms. Obtain a letter of invitation. No automatic or semi-automatic rifles are allowed. Ensure that you have all the necessary paperwork available on arrival.
